Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Austin, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The project consists of the construction of a new concrete UV disinfection tank, installation of an owner-provided new UV disinfection system, and installation of all associated piping, fittings, valves, electrical panels, field wiring, and other components as needed to provide a complete and operable system. The work to be performed includes furnishing and installing all structural, mechanical, and electrical systems as specified to make the system fully operational. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the project title and the name and address of the bidder, and must be submitted on the specified bid forms. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any bid or combination of bids, and waive any informalities in the bidding process. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the project site and thoroughly reviewing the plans and specifications. The Owner may investigate bidders' qualifications and may reject bids if necessary information is not provided or if the bidder is deemed unqualified.
