Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Anna, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and 10,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
The Village of Anna is seeking sealed bids for the 3RD Street and Walnut Street Reconstruction project. The project consists of approximately 2,200 feet of new curb and gutter, 4,000 cubic yards of roadway excavation, 10,000 square feet of new sidewalk, and 1,700 feet of asphalt paving (1,200 cubic yards of asphalt). Bids must be submitted on the provided forms, sealed using the supplied envelope, and accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for at least 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of the bid. Contractors and subcontractors are expected to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor as practicable. Compliance with State of Ohio prevailing wage rates, insurance requirements, and equal employment opportunity provisions is required. Bids will only be accepted from those listed on the Engineer's official list of plan holders. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities, irregularities, or errors as permitted by law. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered.
