The City of Sarasota, Florida is seeking registered and qualified professional Engineers to provide usual and customary engineering services for the Regional Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) on an “as needed” basis. The project includes support for the design and construction of the ATMS, procurement of system and installation/construction services, and installation of fiber communication in coordination with various City departments and potentially Sarasota and Manatee Counties. The City intends to establish a pool of qualified engineering firms for continuing services. The contracted suppliers shall provide all personnel, travel, software, equipment, and supplies necessary to deliver signalization services for project design and construction. Services include attending project-related conferences, consultation, preparation of preliminary studies, working and detail drawings, specifications, cost estimates, drafting forms of proposals, space planning assistance, and analysis services. The solicitation and contracted services will adhere to Florida Statute 287.055 (CCNA) and applicable federal guidelines for FEMA projects.
