The University of Winnipeg is seeking qualified vendors to install new exterior signage for one building. The successful bidder will enter into an agreement with the University based on the proposal that best meets the University's evaluation criteria. The University will accept enquiries up to February 9, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Enquiries may not be accepted after that date and time. The site location for the project is the Rice Centre located at 491 Portage Avenue. The scope includes for the east and west side of the building: 1. Supplying and installing two (2) signs on the exterior of the building - 7 th Floor. 2. Removal of two (2) old signages - 7 th Floor. The new signage is to be place underneath the existing 'Rice Centre' sign (evenly spaced) one on the east and west facade of the building respectively. The new signs include the University of Winnipeg's logo and name in brand font. The specifications of which are: o 2 new sets of face and halo-illuminated channel logo: full color crest with clear vinyl to project the colour. o 2 new sets of halo-illuminated channel letters: back lit for the light to pour out from behind the lettering. o Colour of the halo - crisp, bright white light to highlight the details of the lettering. A mockup of the design for the sign is attached along with dimensions. A diagram outlining the access to electrical panel for connection will be provided. The design files will be shared with the Successful Bidder. The Successful Bidder's responsibilities include acquiring permits from the City of Winnipeg towards: 1. Install the new signages. 2. Electrical work associated with the signage. 3. Street/lane closures as required. Additionally, it is the Successful Bidder's responsibility to ensure all conduits provided are fire-stopping enabled.
