The purpose of this acquisition package is to replace three aging cast-iron hydronic boilers, three air-cooled chillers, associated pump systems, Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), and a rooftop HVAC unit serving critical laboratory spaces at the Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML) in Charleston, South Carolina. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to remove, replace, and upgrade the heating and cooling systems identified in this Statement of Work. Detailed technical, performance, integration, and compliance requirements are defined in the sections that follow. General Requirements: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, technical support, testing, commissioning, and related services necessary to remove, replace, and upgrade the identified heating and cooling systems at the NOAA Hollings Marine Laboratory (331 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412). All work shall deliver fully functional, energy-efficient, code-compliant, and reliable hydronic heating, chilled-water, direct expansion (DX), and rooftop HVAC systems that meet or exceed current mechanical, electrical, safety, and performance standards.
