Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) is issuing a Request for Vendor Prequalification (RFPQ) for TCHC’s comprehensive Fire Life Safety preventative maintenance program. TCHC intends create a list of prequalified Vendors who have successful passed the technical stage, Stage 2 – Rated Criteria. Following the RFPQ TCHC will issue a subsequent Request for Quotation (RFQ) to the Vendors on the prequalified list for preventative and services, inspection and testing of fire alarm/suppression systems. TCHC is looking for certified Proponents to perform annual and semi-annual testing, 24/7 emergency demand response, and inspection services for TCHC and Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation (TSHC) fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems at approximately 516 locations with fire alarm systems, which covers an estimated 107 million square feet of gross floor area. The distribution and award of work will be based on five (5) pre-defined regional groups as detailed in Appendix A.2 – Building Inventory Listing. TCHC’s intent is to award five (5) Proponents through the subsequent RFQ one (1) group each. However, should there be an insufficient number of submissions, TCHC may award up to a maximum of 2 groups to a Proponent. Refer to Section 2.2 for further information. This RFPQ Category of Work is categorized as Preventative Maintenance and Demand Repair Services. The scope of Services in this RFPQ is sub-categorized as P&D Fire Alarm/Suppression Systems Maintenance Services. Through the subsequent RFQ, TCHC’s intention will be to enter into Main Services Level Agreements with Successful Proponents. The term of the program will be for a period of three (3) years, with an option in favour of TCHC to extend for another two (2) one (1) year intervals.
