Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sealed bids are solicited for the Storm Sewer Main Relay located at SE-2785 (North of W. Lolita Ave.) from N. 99th St. to 125 feet east of N. 99th St. Work must be completed continuously within 30 days, no later than May 1, 2026. The project enforces a 40% residency requirement for work hours, with a quarter of those hours attributed to residents from specified zip codes. A 15% SBE (Small Business Enterprise) participation is required, with the SBE Compliance Plan (Form A) and certificates submitted with the bid, and incomplete or inaccurate forms will render bids unresponsive. Apprenticeship requirements include 1 Laborer – Construction Craft, with additional requirements if the contract is $500,000 or higher. Bid security of 10% of the contractor’s base bid must accompany the bid. Bidders are strongly encouraged to use Bid Express for submission. All contractors awarded contracts of $25,000 or more must participate in City of Milwaukee B2GNow contract compliance software training and regularly report subcontractor payments. The Prime Contractor must also participate in Labor Compliance Reporting (LCR) Software training and provide timely payroll information throughout the contract. Compliance with all provisions of the City of Milwaukee General Official Notice to Contractors is mandatory.
