Sealed bids will be received for the Centerville Water Line Relocation, F&T Job No.: 201309, for the City of Denham Springs by the Mayor and City Council. Complete bidding documents are available from Forte and Tablada, Inc. All bids must include bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and all alternates, submitted in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or a Bid Bond from a surety company licensed in Louisiana. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount, written by a qualified surety. Bids are accepted from contractors licensed for Municipal and Public Works Construction. Instructions for document deposit, online bid submission, and compliance with Louisiana statutes and bonding requirements are provided. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty (30) days after receipt, except as provided by law. Special accommodations may be requested at least seven days before the bid opening.
