The Department of Corrections requests bids for the annual removal and disposal of Class B biosolid sludge from holding tanks at the wastewater treatment plants at Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution and Fox Lake Correctional Institution. The estimated annual sludge removal is 322,900 gallons for KMCI and 584,000 gallons for FLCI. Bidders may submit proposals for one or both locations. Other state agencies may also use the contract if agreeable to both parties. There is no guarantee of purchase of any specific quantity or dollar amount. The contract will initially be for one year, with up to four possible one-year renewals by mutual agreement. Any contract modifications must fall within the original scope and must be in writing and signed by both parties.
