The City of Plymouth is seeking proposals from qualified consultants with expertise in public sector strategic planning to assist with an update to the City's existing Strategic Plan. The City adopted its first Strategic Plan covering the 2023-2026 period following a comprehensive planning effort involving the Common Council and City staff. As the City approaches the conclusion of that planning horizon, this engagement is intended to update, refine, and extend the current Strategic Plan beginning in 2026. The 8,909 people who call the City of Plymouth, Wisconsin home know that the community provides a high quality of life in Sheboygan County. The City has an excellent school district, a busy commercial corridor, several large manufacturers, and safe neighborhoods served by ample parks and natural areas, which have resulted in considerable loyalty and community pride among residents. The beautiful Mullet River and Mill Pond Dam are the focal point of the community and split Eastern Avenue from Mill Street. Whether on the east side or west side, historic buildings thoughtfully blend with new redevelopment to provide a mix of housing, employment, shopping, dining, and entertainment.
