Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Plain, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Village of Fort Plain is requesting proposals from engineering firms to provide engineering design, construction documents and contract administration for improvements at a water treatment plant to address PFAS/PFOA contamination. This project is funded through a grant from the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Emerging Contaminants Program (IIJA-EC). Women-owned and minority-owned businesses are encouraged to submit responses to the RFQ. The Village of Fort Plain has reported high levels of PFOS in its secondary source of supply, the Lincoln Well Field. This well field is located adjacent to the Mohawk River off Witter Street in the Village. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
