Sealed bids for the following project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport: Phase II of the Perimeter Fence Upgrade project aims to enhance airfield security and safety by mitigating hazards posed by large terrestrial wildlife and preventing unauthorized access to the airfield. This phase includes the replacement of approximately 21,000 linear feet of perimeter fencing along Runway 18R/36L, as well as upgrades to select airfield gates. The project will increase the fence height from 6 feet to 10 feet and implement targeted gate modifications to align with FAA Cert Alert 16-03 and the Airport Security Plan (ASP). Attempts to Influence the Selection Process: Except for clarifying written questions sent to the ITB Manager, all Bidders, including all persons acting on their behalf, are strictly prohibited from contacting City staff on or regarding any matter relating to this ITB from the time the ITB is issued until the intent to award is communicated to Bidders. CLT reserves the right to disqualify any Bidder who contacts a City staff concerning this ITB other than in accordance with this ITB.
