Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Howell, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Howell Public Schools will receive firm prime contractor bids for the labor, materials, equipment, and all other services to complete the following project: Howell Community Center Drop Off Loop located at 1200 W Grand River Ave, Howell, MI 48843. This project will consist of replacement of the existing high school drop-off loop with a new larger loop and parking that extends toward the new community center student entrance. Bids will be accepted via PreconSuite for electronic bid submission or as hard copy sealed bids, and must include the appropriate proposal forms. Bids over the State threshold of $31,321 must be accompanied with either a certified cashier’s check or a U.S. treasury listed security bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. All proposals shall be firm for a period of ninety (90) days. Bids must include sworn and notarized statements disclosing any familial relationship with Board of Education members or the Superintendent, as well as sworn and notarized statements for the Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit of Compliance and Equal Opportunity Statement. Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more will be required to furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids as a whole or in part, and to waive any informality therein, or to award the contract to an alternate bidder other than the lowest bidder at its discretion.
