The City of Greenville is requesting bids for the installation of a new mini roundabout at the intersection of Chick Springs Road and Mohawk Drive, tying into existing infrastructure at the north side of Ashford Avenue. The scope of services involves construction of a 35 feet diameter center island, three approach islands, curb and gutter, sidewalk, handicap ramps, crosswalks, pavement striping, permanent signage, guardrail, removal of pavement, installation of pavement, curb lawns (grass strips), minor site grading, sediment and erosion control, stormwater upgrades, and signed traffic control and traffic detours. Work on Mohawk Drive will extend south for approximately 120 linear feet from the center of the proposed roundabout. On Chick Springs Road, work will extend southeast approximately 135 linear feet toward Wade Hampton Boulevard and north for approximately 100 linear feet from the center of the proposed roundabout.
