Renovation of an educational facility in Greenville, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

The School District of Greenville County is seeking bid responses for Building Envelope Repairs at Mitchell Road Elementary School. The school is a single-storied metal panel/CMU building with water intrusion issues. The project consists of replacing one window, re-establishing the fire rating of a column, replacing metal flashing, re-installing the fire pull in the lobby, cleaning and coating the CMU on the exterior of the Media Center, and replacing gutters. Bids are to be submitted in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions of the solicitation. Question Deadline 02/24/2026 at 10:00 AM ET Scope of Work: 1. The clear story window in the lobby will be replaced. The contractor shall provide two coat of paint w/primer on the interior wall (floor level to the metal deck) from corner to corner of the wall with the new window. 2. Provide and install flashing/caulk as indicated and required to provide a watertight building system for the area at the front lobby and at the Media Center.. The fire protection for Column "A" (at the corner of the lobby) will be replaced. 4. Repair the fire protection at the junction of the column and beams. 5. Patch and repaint the wall indicated on the drawings. 6. Replace the gutters and downspouts as indicated. 7. Pressure washing the entire exterior of the building. Clean the windows after pressure washed is completed. 8. Coat the exterior block walls as indicated on the drawings. This will not include the metal walls. 9. Replace all the exterior window gaskets in all the windows in the facility. Including the gaskets on the operational windows. 10. Replace the gaskets in the doors with glass. 11. Remove and replace the backer rods and caulk in the expansion joints and between the window frame and the brick/block/window frame/door frame. Remove and replace the caulk around the exterior wall light fixture. There are approximately 550 feet of expansion joints. 12. Remove and replace the caulk between the sidewalk and the brick wall, confirm the total linear footage of caulk to be replaced. 13. The Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, insurance, taxes, contributions and all services and facilities unless specifically excepted and install all materials, items and equipment required to complete the construction of the Project, set forth in the Contract Documents and as required to provide complete and operational systems. 14. The contractor shall verify the conditions of the project (the size and number of windows the gaskets are to be replaced and the conditions of the project.
