Scope includes demolition of a portion of the existing fully adhered membrane down to the roof framing system, demolition of existing roof joists as shown in the construction drawings, installation of new roof framing members, new support columns and foundation system, installation of metal fascia and soffit to match existing, installation of a nominal 72-mil Sika Sarnafil single-ply membrane roofing system to match existing roofing membrane, a minimum 1/4 " thick cover board, polyisocyanurate insulation, and the required attachments to furnish a 20-year warranty on approximately 300 SF of roof. Work at the Library includes material, labor, services, transportation, demolition to the existing single-ply membrane roofing system down to the existing roof substrate, and construction of a new roofing system over existing roof joists. New construction includes new wood bearing walls that will align with existing exterior and interior bearing walls below, installation of metal siding to match existing, installation of approximately 1,350 SF of a nominal 72-mil Sika Sarnafil single-ply membrane to match existing roofing membrane, and the required attachments to furnish a 20-year warranty.
