Site work for a civil project in Beverly, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes the design and construction of a nominal 141,000-gallon concrete potable water reservoir and associated accessories; installation of approximately 260 linear feet of 6-, 8-, and 12-inch yard piping and approximately 220 linear feet of 4- and 8-inch gravity drain piping; installation of hypochlorite feed pumps, meters, and chlorine injection vaults; installation of a pressure transducer and vault; electrical improvements; well improvements, including a submersible well motor and pump; installation of approximately 325 feet of 6-inch column pipe, air line, and transducer tube; and other miscellaneous work. Additive alternatives include two separate mixing systems and one for chlorination containment and analyzing equipment. The project is funded in part by the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). All bidders and subcontractors must be licensed in Washington State and comply with DWSRF requirements. Federal and state requirements relating to use of federal funds, including Davis Bacon Wage Rates, Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Washington State Contracting Laws apply. The work is also subject to Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) requirements, mandating that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project be produced in the United States, unless a waiver is approved. The Owner is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, and encourages minority and women-owned businesses to submit bids and indicate their status on the Planholders List. All bids must be submitted on the prescribed form with a certified check or bid bond for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will need to furnish additional bonds for contract performance as specified. The Owner may reject any bid not in compliance with requirements or for good cause, and all further bid submittal, qualification, procedures, and contract award requirements are detailed in the Instructions to Bidders.
