Columbus County - Water District IV Riegelwood Water System Replacement The work includes but is not limited to: installation of 16,600 linear feet of 6-inch diameter PVC water main; 540 linear feet of 6-inch diameter PVC water main; 510 linear feet of 6-inch diameter inside diameter directional bore; 130 linear feet of 12-inch diameter steel casing; 49 each 6-inch diameter gate valve with box; 3 each 2-inch diameter gate valve with box; 144 each 5/8-inch by 3/4-inch water service reconnect including the replacement of existing meters with AMI capable meters; and 17 each fire hydrants. The Owner has a goal of ten percent participation of minority-owned and women-owned business enterprises in construction contracts. Bidders must comply with the Owner's requirements for W/MBE documentation. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award both parts, either part or neither part of the project.
