The Architect/Engineer firm shall provide all programming, design submissions, site investigation and field verification services, asbestos testing, construction documents, technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, medical equipment planning, and construction administration services for the Renovate PACU and Cath Lab project at the Louis P. Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Work includes renovation of PACU and catheterization laboratory spaces located on the second floor, development of phased designs to maintain ongoing hospital operations, and coordination of architectural, structural, civil, landscape, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, industrial hygiene, life-safety, technology, cost estimation, and project management disciplines. Services include production of complete construction documents compliant with VA design guides, manuals, and master specifications; provision of cost estimates and professional analyses; execution of site investigations to verify field conditions; and performance of asbestos testing as required. Construction period services include professional field inspections, review of construction submittals, support for requests for information, and support for construction contract changes including preparation of statements of work and cost estimates.
