36C25026B0035Amend0004 541-24-103 The work consists of improving sub-basement plumbing and air quality conditions for Project 541-24-103 at the main medical center. The project includes replacement of lift pumps, sump pumps, associated pits, and correction of other existing plumbing deficiencies within the sub-basement. The scope also addresses air quality issues caused by prior building expansion that has restricted fresh air flow, as well as conditions created by ongoing projects that have impeded egress, lighting, and ventilation. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents. All activities shall be closely coordinated with the Department of Veterans Affairs Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative. The period of performance is 251 calendar days, and the project magnitude is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. This requirement is a 100 percent set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses under NAICS 238220, with a size standard of $19 million. The Contractor Certification for VAAR 852.219-75 is required with the bid, and bids will be evaluated on price.
