Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Leesville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,300-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Leesville is seeking bids from qualified contractors to construct 4 Pickle Ball Courts at the Leesville Recreation Complex. The work includes the installation of 4 courts and fencing for each court. Specifications include concrete work—such as approximately 120' of saw cutting, 260' of expansion material, 20' of repair and new pour for a 2' x 4' concrete chain wall, and about 135 yards of concrete for a 10,300 sq. ft. slab with a 4" thickness and #9 wire throughout, with 12"W x 8"D footers around the perimeter and one down the center, reinforced with rebar. Minimal dirt grading is required, and the concrete should be sloped to drain and not hold water. Fence work includes approximately 240' of 6' fencing, 360' of 4' fencing, 120' of 4' fence installation (with poles set and chain link on site), two 6'x4' walk gates, and one 6'x8' double gate. All fencing is to be installed on existing concrete, except for 170' of the 6' perimeter fence. All measurements and amounts must be field verified. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked with the project name, and must include certification of qualifications and proof of insurance.
