Site work for a water / sewer project in Rexburg, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the construction of a new sanitary sewer mainline from the Teton River Temple to the wastewater treatment plant. The gravity part of the new sanitary sewer will tie onto the existing line on Moody Road and will end at a new lift station south of Moran View Road and 5th West. A new lift station will be installed at that location and from the lift station, pressurized sewer will be installed to the existing sanitary sewer treatment facility located at 531 N 5th W. The construction will go through a wetland area and include a river crossing under the Teton River. High groundwater is anticipated during construction of the gravity sewer line. The project will include all the typical road and native ground repairs necessary to install new gravity sewer with manholes. Most of the trenching and excavation will be in a mixture of native grounds and fields, with the rest being in a typical county street. The street profile will need to be rebuilt after the gravity sewer is installed. The City reserves the right to reject all proposals or any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the bid documents. 02/10/2026 at 12:00 PM MT Any Bidder who has objections needs clarification, or any requests for changes or modifications to these documents must make it known in writing and delivered to the engineer no later than on the day seven days prior to the scheduled bid opening.
