The project involves asbestos abatement work for the 2026 Renovation Projects at the following buildings: Asbestos Abatement and Mold Remediation at East Aurora High School, and Asbestos Abatement at Beaupre Elementary School. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed bids in an opaque envelope by the specified deadline to the given address. Facsimile and electronic bids are not accepted, and timely delivery is the responsibility of the bidder. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk-through will be held, which all contractors submitting bids must attend. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash equal to 5 percent of the base bid amount must be included with the bid. The successful contractor must provide Labor and Material Bonds, and Performance Bonds. All bidders must guarantee payment of not less than the prevailing wage to laborers, workers, and mechanics performing work under the contract. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in the bids. Bidding documents and specifications are available from the District website, by contacting the designated representative, or from the specified office location. Submit all questions regarding the bidding documents to the Asbestos Project Designer in writing. Replies will be issued to all bidders of record in the form of an Addendum. Questions received after 5:00 p.m. Central Time on February 16, 2026, will not be answered.
