Lafayette County will receive sealed proposals for the Courthouse Roof Access & Site Improvements project. Bids must be delivered by the specified time to the Office of the Architect, Michael Rogers Designs LLC, either physically or by email. Bids will be opened in an online video/teleconference meeting and may also be attended in person. Plans and specifications shall be obtained through the Office of the Architect. A mandatory prebid meeting is scheduled at the project site, and any additional on-site review must be scheduled through the architect. All bids on construction contracts exceeding $50,000.00 must be accompanied by a five percent (5%) corporate Bid Bond or certified check. Bidders must comply with all requirements of Contractors Licensing Laws of the State of Arkansas and relevant acts and codes. The Owner encourages small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids and encourages general contractors to consider these groups for subcontracted portions of work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive formalities. Proposals failing to comply with any provision of the plans, specifications, and other contract documents will be considered invalid and will not receive consideration.
