The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on April 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase II engineering services are required for Land Surveying projects for District Ones Bureau of Land Acquisition, Plats and Plans Section for various locations throughout District 1. The Consultant's work shall utilize field and office resources to prepare statutory Plats of Highways, Plats of Existing ROW, Plats of Excess Parcel, Plats of Survey, legal descriptions, title commitment review, preparation of Title Commitment Parcel Summary Sheets and field staking in accordance with the current Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures Manual. A copy of the current manual can be found on the IDOT website under Resources/Manuals & Guides. The Consultant must also have a current QA/QC plan in place to review internal work as well as assigned Subconsultant projects. The department will furnish the Consultant with the proposed ROW requirements, proposed alignment data (preferably CADD file if available), current title commitments, existing ROW records and our project checklist. Work orders under the blanket agreement will be negotiated and authorized by the department on an as-needed basis. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the Special Services (Surveying) category to be considered for this project. Statements of Interest, including resumes of only the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS).
