The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on April 28, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the Region Two/District Three Office in Ottawa Phase I and II engineering services are needed for the preparation of a Hydraulic Study, Bridge Condition Report, and final contract plans and specifications for the repairs to the structure carrying Illinois 47 over the Fox River in Yorkville (S.N. 047-0048). Repairs to the structure are expected to include a new superstructure and substructure repairs, however the exact scope of repairs will be dependent on the recommendations of the Bridge Condition Report. Phase I engineering services required for S.N. 047-0048 include preparation of Hydraulic Report, Bridge Condition Report (BCR), Type, Size, and Location drawings, Scour Analyses (if necessary),route and hydraulic surveying, identifying any drainage upgrades or repairs, providing for maintenance of traffic, accommodating for bicycle and pedestrian facilities , assistance with environmental clearances by completing forms and providing field work, determining the lighting needs and any traffic signal work, coordination with the City of Yorkville, and all other work necessary to prepare a Project Report for Design Approval. Phase II engineering services required for S.N. 047-0048 include continued stakeholder coordination, roadway plans, structure rehabilitation plans, traffic control plans, lighting plans, traffic signal plans (if necessary), and any other related work to complete the final plans, specifications, and estimates The Prime firm must be prequalified in the following categories to be considered for this project: Highways (Roads and Streets) Location Design Studies (Rehabilitation) Structures (Highway: Advanced Typical) Statements of Interest, including resumes of only the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS) ILDOT - 038 - IL 47 Fox River Crossing at Yorkville and Illinois River Crossing at Morris
