Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Canandaigua, New York. Working plans call for the construction of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

The project consists of building out the new Health Fitness Center (HFC) and Whole Health (WH) Clinic within newly constructed shell space at the Canandaigua, NY VA Medical Center. Work includes constructing partitions to create offices and various functional spaces, along with associated carpentry such as doors, finishes, and ceilings. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, security, and access control system work is required, including modifications to existing systems, selective demolition, and re-balancing of whole building systems. Tasks include constructing three offices, one bathroom with associated plumbing, and a locker room, workout room, and group room with rubber gym flooring. Additional work includes removal and installation of lighting and ceiling fans, partial removal and reconstruction of ductwork with thermostat relocation, modification of fire alarm and sprinkler systems to accommodate new layouts and drop ceilings, installation of area signage, and provision and installation of select furnishings. Work will occur primarily during normal business hours, with some off-hours activities required for building system shutdowns or work impacting patient care areas. The magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
