This project generally includes renovation of the existing roof of Building #101 Monitor roof at Griffiss International Airport, Oneida County, Rome, New York. The project will include repairing the aging roof areas. The project consists of one prime contract, General. Bids must be submitted upon the proposal form(s) furnished, and the entire proposal booklet must be submitted. A deposit in the amount of 5% of the bid is required, which shall be a bid bond or certified check payable to the County of Oneida. Failure to submit a bid bond or certified check with the bid will result in automatic disqualification. Failure to submit a bid upon the proposal form(s) in the proposal booklet furnished by Oneida County will also result in automatic disqualification. Performance and Material & Labor payment bonds will be required for an amount not less than 100% of the bid price. Packages containing bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed to the Director of Purchasing, Griffiss International Airport, 660 Hangar Road, Suite 223, Rome, NY 13441. Also, mark the envelope or package with the Bid Reference Number and project title. Any inquiries regarding the Contract Documents must be directed in writing to Sarah Rogers of C&S Engineers, Inc. The Owner reserves the right to revise or amend the Contract Documents prior to the date set for opening bids and to reject all bids received. The County of Oneida invites sealed bids from minority groups in accordance with its Affirmative Action Policy.
