Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a 30,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center.

Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the Whitpain Township Community Center, which includes but is not limited to approximately 30,000 square feet of a Township Community Center building and associated site improvements. Bids will be received in six multiple prime contracts for Site Construction, General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Electrical Construction, Plumbing Construction, and Fire Protection Construction. Bids must be submitted unconditionally utilizing the PennBid Program. Each bid must include bid security in the amount of 10% of the total contract amount, including all add alternates, payable to Whitpain Township. Performance and Payment Bonds amounting to 100% of the contract amount must be provided by the successful bidder. Bidding will utilize Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates. All bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form, and must comply with the Whitpain Township Responsible Contractor Ordinance. Pre-qualification Contractor Responsibility Certifications must be submitted prior to bidding. The successful bidders will be required to support the Owner and the assigned grant consultant in administering grant requirements for the project duration.
