Site work and paving for a road / highway in Galeton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Limestone driving surface aggregate (DSA) delivery and placement on Germania Street Extension totaling 2,375 feet in length and approximately 1,350 tons. Motor-paver placement must be utilized in a single pass. A minimum 10-ton vibratory roller is required for compaction. The contractor is required to pay prevailing wage rates. Construction must be completed by September 1st, 2026 to avoid penalties. Bid packages can be obtained at a mandatory site showing. Sealed bids must be delivered by mail or hand delivery to West Branch Township, clearly marked "DSA Bid" by 6:00pm on Monday, March 2nd, 2026. Bids will be opened at 6:00 pm at West Branch Township building. Any bids received after 6:00 pm will be rejected. West Branch Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
