The City of Oxford invites firms to submit proposals for the City of Oxford DC Fast Charging Project (2 Sites). Sealed proposals must be clearly marked and received in the office of the Service Director. The City of Oxford reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any irregularities, hold any proposal for sixty days before accepting, and to accept the proposal deemed, in its sole discretion, to be the lowest and/or best proposal. Additional information may be obtained from the City of Oxford Engineering Division. Project Overview The City of Oxford is looking for an electric vehicle (EV) charging solution partner Consultant that can deliver a complete solution to support public Fast Charging, to include providing the engineering, utility coordination, procurement, electrical make-ready site preparation and installation services, to include the seamless integration ofthe ChargePoint hardware, software to energize and electrify two DC Fast Charging site locations. Each site will also require the selected vendor to provide and install a video surveillance solution for each site, with the ongoing surveillance and monitoring ofthe sites being performed by the City of Oxford. The City of Oxford has chosen the ChargePoint Express Plus Fast Charging architecture for two (2) site locations. Each charging dispenser must have the ability to simultaneously charge two vehicles at the same time, utilizing ChargePoint's Omni Port connector technology. Questions will be accepted until 72 hours prior to the proposal deadline The Contractor shall prosecute the work on March 30, 2026 and complete all work by October 30, 2026 Provide Project Management to oversee all aspects ofthe project, including coordinating logistics and scheduling with utility provider. Project Management should include hosting weekly status calls, offering frequent updates, prepare a project plan and travel onsite, as necessary to monitor the progress ofthe project. Provide 800 amp 480 volt service - circuit breakers, wire, conduit, and fittings. You may assume that the Duke Energy transformer is no more than 50' from power service. Per site. Perform all necessary trenching / boring, backfill, restore site to original condition. o Demo oftree & shrubs where applicable, haul away and remove from job site. o Install (2) power block and (2) charging dispensers at uptown parking lot. o Pour /install concrete pads for all ChargePoint equipment (charger dispensers and power blocks). o Include permitting. o Provide stamped engineered drawings. o Install (1) power block and (1) charging dispenser at municipal lot. o Provide and install in-ground bollards to protect transformer and power blocks at both locations. o Commission stationsto network o EV stencil each parking spot and paint an ADA access path. Layout shall meet the requirements of "Design Recommendations for Accessible Electric Vehicle Charging Stations" o Provide & install (2) in-ground bollards to protect each charger dispenser, total of (6) bollards to protect charging dispensers.
