Renovation of an educational facility in Mundelein, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Mundelein Consolidated High School District 120 is accepting sealed bids for the Mundelein High School Master Faculty Phase 2 project. Such proposals as herein concerned shall be for the following as described: Bid Package #36 - Acoustical Ceiling Tile & Ceiling Systems Bid Package #37 - HMA Pavement Bid Package #38 - Concrete Bid Package #39 - Demolition Bid Package #40 - Electrical Bid Package #41 - Fire Protection Bid Package #42 - Fireproofing Bid Package #43 - Flooring & Tile Bid Package #44 - General Trades Bid Package #45 - Landscaping Bid Package #46 - Low Voltage & Technology Bid Package #47 - Masonry Bid Package #48 - Mechanical Bid Package #49 - Millwork & Casework Bid Package #50 - Painting Bid Package #51 - Plumbing Bid Package #52 - Roofing & Metal Panels Bid Package #53 - Signage Bid Package #54 - Sports Equipment Bid Package #55 - Storefronts, Curtain Wall, & Glazing Bid Package #56 - Terrazzo Bid Package #57 - Wall Treatments & Folding Partitions Bid Package #58 - Waterproofing Bid Package #59 - Miscellaneous Metals The competency and responsibility of the bidders will be considered in making awards. The successful bidder shall, upon acceptance of their bid, be required to procure and pay for a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. Bonds shall comply with all laws of the State of Illinois governing public contracts let by governmental units. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Mundelein Consolidated High School District 120 in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid shall be submitted with the Bid. Bid security is required of all parties submitting a bid. A fully executed and compliant Bid Security must be included with the Bid Form. All contracts for the construction of public works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Chief Procurement Officer for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time of the bid opening. The Mundelein Consolidated High School District 120 reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities, technicalities and irregularities in the bidding. Site walkthrough notes: Bidders are responsible for reviewing all visible and existing conditions during the walkthrough.
