Fire hydrants must be inspected every six months at all sites listed in Appendix 1: - In the spring, THE SERVICE PROVIDER must perform a test and checks to detect any anomalies in the underground network or on the fire hydrant. - In the autumn, THE SERVICE PROVIDER must check that everything is working properly. The hydrant must be winterized with an antifreeze liquid for fire hydrants. The product must be non-toxic, biodegradable, contain an anti-corrosion agent and comply with environmental standards and requirements. These inspections must enable the following to be achieved: - Identify anomalies; - Describe the condition of each fire hydrant; - Describe the operating conditions; - Determine the hydraulic capacity of the network; - Identify areas with potential leaks; - Improve water quality and network durability; The CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale is seeking to award a contract for fire hydrant inspection services valid for one (1) fixed year, with two (2) renewal options for an additional period of one (1) year each, from: 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 (fixed year); 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2028 (optional year); 1 April 2028 to 31 March 2029 (optional year).
