Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Edwardsville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Work includes but is not limited to selective interior demolition of existing lockers, classroom walls, doors/frames, light fixtures, sprinkler heads/piping, ductwork, and Roof Top Unit, to provide new ductwork (including new RTU), sprinkler heads/piping, interior metal stud/gypsum board walls, suspended acoustical tile ceilings and light fixtures to create offices, work areas and conference rooms with new electrical and mechanical system and devices. Bids shall be clearly marked and will not be accepted if faxed, emailed, or received after the stated time. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is required for all bidders. Bidders must be properly licensed, able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work, and must provide Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and acceptable Insurance will be required of the successful Bidder. Contractors and subcontractors shall pay prevailing wages pursuant to state law. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive informality, and award a contract for any part or the whole project.
