San Benito County is requesting quotes from interested certified and licensed bidders for dirt ripping of detention ponds located throughout various County Service Areas. Services must begin no later than 30 days after the award of the contract or issuance of a purchase order. All work must be performed at Prevailing Wage. Only contractors or subcontractors registered with the Department of Industrial Relations may bid or work on this public works project, and proof of DIR registration and compliance must be submitted with all bids. At all times during the contract, the contractor must possess current and valid licenses and comply with all related terms and conditions, as well as necessary insurance coverage. When submitting the price quote, include any applicable taxes, fees, extra charges, and indicate whether shipping is included. Bidders are encouraged to provide all relevant terms and conditions, and Local, Minority, and Disabled Veterans Businesses are specifically encouraged to respond. Request for Clarification / Question Deadline Proposers are responsible for reviewing all portions of this RFQu. Proposers are to notify the department, through the OpenGov portal, if the proposer discovers any ambiguity, discrepancy, omission, or apparent error in the RFQu. Such notification should be made promptly after discovery, but in no event later than five business days prior to the deadline for this solicitation
