Work also includes construction of a new high-service pump station with required shoring and dewatering; installation of approximately 650 linear feet of new 12-inch ductile iron pipe from the new tank access road to an existing connection on Timber Ridge Boulevard; and piping reconfiguration at the existing Titan Tower Tank site with new 18-inch and 16-inch ductile iron pipe, appurtenances, and reconnections. Additional work includes reconfiguration of distribution system piping at 15th Street and Westminster Road, connecting a 24-inch water main on the west side of Westminster Road to a 12-inch main on the north side of 15th Street. Requirements include installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment controls, stormwater permitting and management, isolation valve coordination, and performance of specialized inspections. Tank construction must be completed by manufacturers and installers with at least 10 years of experience, with welding performed per AWWA and AWS standards, foundation design by a licensed structural engineer in Oklahoma, NSF 61-compliant interior coatings, tank mixer, and pumps, and installation of a cathodic protection system per AWWA D106-10. Specialized qualifications include soil condition evaluation prior to foundation placement, proof-rolling, welder performance qualifications, generator installation oversight, and vertical turbine pump startup and testing by a qualified manufacturer's representative. All construction must comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
