Site work for a civil project in Woodstock, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The project consists of making upgrades to an existing sewer lift station off US Highway 11 near I-59 Exit 97 to include new submersible sewage pumps, appurtenances, and controls, a new wet well for additional storage capacity, and miscellaneous site upgrades. Additionally, upgrades will be made to existing sewer force mains including right-of-way and easement clearing, air release valve replacement, ice pigging, and point repairs. Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations is required. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid form and accompanied by a cashier’s check or Bidder’s Bond for not less than five percent of the bid amount, not exceeding ten thousand dollars. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, proof of insurance, E-Verify enrollment verification, and a complete list of subcontractors and suppliers are required before contract signing. Bidders must be properly qualified according to the laws of Alabama, display their contractor license number on the sealed envelope, and clearly identify the bid package with the bidder’s name, address, project name, and bid opening details. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the closing time for bid receipt. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or technical errors in the best interest of the Owner.
