The project includes two sites in Perry County located just off of Mountain Shadow Drive, behind WYMT. The Sims site consists of a pre-law auger bench, whose outer slope has become unstable. Movement along the outer slope, around the foundation, and inside the home have been reported. Multiple auger holes along the backyard pose a threat to Mr. Sims' young child. Drainage and sediment flow over an OSM concrete wall and toward the home. The Whitson site consists of an augered and backfilled highwall at house level and just above the home. Drainage continues to flow into the back of the home. The slope behind the home has become unstable, and large boulders have fallen and damaged the deck and pool. Bidders are instructed that only online bids will be accepted. Emailed and hard copies delivered by any method will not be accepted. Bidders must enter $0.00 for the Contract Amount in the e-procurement system and submit the actual contract amount on the Official Bid Document as an attachment in the e-procurement system. Vendors should review and update all contact information before bid submission, as this will carry forward to any contract awarded. The entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond (if required) should be combined into one PDF and uploaded. Contractors are encouraged to attend the site visit meeting. Procurement questions should be directed to the buyer of record for the project. Site visit participants must follow applicable health and safety guidelines for Commonwealth of Kentucky construction projects. Contractors must download bid documents, specifications, and drawings from the designated website to be registered as planholders and receive addenda.
