Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Livingston, Montana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The project consists of the construction of a new 110-foot single span bridge on Horse Creek Road over the Shields River, approximately 0.75 miles southeast of Wilsall, Montana. The improvements include removal and disposal of the existing structure, substructure construction, placement of bridge end backfill, hauling and placing riprap, and construction of roadway approaches after the new bridge is complete. The substructure will consist of driven steel H-piles and concrete abutments. The superstructure will consist of prestressed bulb-tee beams with W740 guardrail. Acknowledgment of bidders' satisfaction as to the general, local, and site conditions that may affect cost, progress, and performance of the work is a condition of bidding.
