Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Helena, Montana. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes improvements on Meadow Drive, Elmwood Lane, and Oakwood Lane. Work involves removal of existing concrete and asphalt pavement, relocation of existing street signs, and removal of one overhead pole. New construction includes installation of special curb inlets, new pedestrian crossing street signs, crushed base course, asphalt concrete pavement, combined concrete curb and gutter, detectable warning devices, concrete sidewalk, concrete valley gutter, concrete driveway apron, and seeding. Bidders should review all plans and specification documents for full detail. The 2025 Benton Avenue Turn Lanes Project include the following: Base Bid (Meadow Drive improvements) includes removal of approximately 50 SY of concrete and 170 SY of asphalt pavement, and relocation of two existing street signs. New construction includes one special curb inlet, installation of 6 new pedestrian crossing street signs, placement of approximately 81 CY of 1.5-inch minus crushed base course, installation of approximately 55 SY of asphalt concrete pavement, construction of approximately 930 LF of combined concrete curb and gutter, installation of four detectable warning devices, construction of approximately 775 square feet of 4-inch concrete sidewalk, 284 square feet of concrete valley gutter, and 582 square feet of 6-inch concrete driveway apron, approximately 850 SY of seeding.
