Greenwood County is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide all equipment, materials, tools, and labor to repair Watson Hill Bridge located on Watson Hill Road within Greenwood County, SC. Question Submission Deadline:February 17, 2026, 2:00pm Questions concerning this RFP's specifications, or the identity of any omissions or discrepancies be submitted via the e-Procurement Portal Watson Hill Bridge-Greenwood County, South Carolina The scope of the repairs for this project will include but not be limited to: A. Remove and discard 2 headwalls, deck timber boards, guard rails, and wheel rub rails. B. Replace 2 headwalls with addition of 4 wingwalls, deck timber boards, guard rails, and wheel rub rails. All new lumber dimensions should match existing lumber dimensions unless otherwise stated. 1. New headwalls should be constructed of 4"x8" wood slats installed on each end bent extending the same distance as the original head wall. 4 wingwalls should include 6"x6" posts mechanically embedded, 2 for each wingwall. Headwalls and wingwalls shall be backfilled and compacted to current road elevation. All headwall, deck timber board, guard rail, and wheel rub rail material should be CCA .80 The proposed work is located in Greenwood County, 1470 Watson Hill Rd, Bradley, SC 29819 (34.070386, - 82.288569). Proposers must be located within a reasonable distance of the property to adequately respond to future warranty issues and repairs.
