Piping arrangement shall be modified to accommodate the new equipment. 5) Control and monitoring for new and existing HVAC equipment and systems (except equipment included in Bid ALternate #1) shall be provided by a new building automation system provided by Alerton and installed by Hoffman Building Technologies. †Components and wiring of the existing building automation system that are no longer required shall be removed. 6) Provide testing, adjusting, and balancing for all new and existing equipment and systems. †BID ALTERNATE #1 (TO COMMENCE AND BE SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETE / SCHOOLREADY BY JULY 26, 2027. 1) Replace existing water source heat pumps with new water source heat pumps. 2) All valves and hydronic specialties related to the heat pumps shall be replaced with new items.
