The Contractor (Contractor) will provide specialized manufacturing of rotor field poles for the synchronous motor and generator units at various hydropower facilities. The anticipated term of this agreement is three (3) years with the option to renew for two (2) additional years. In submitting your bid, you must comply with these instructions. The Contractor (Contractor) will provide specialized manufacturing of rotor field poles for the synchronous motor and generator units at various hydropower facilities located in the San Joaquin Field Division (SJFD), which is a part of the State Water Project (SWP). Contractor will provide services for Buena Vista (BVPP), Wheeler Ridge (WRPP), Chrisman (CPP) and Edmonston (EDPP) Pumping Plants located in San Joaquin Field Division. Bidder must submit a copy of their valid General Engineering Contractors license (Class A) or valid Electrical Contractor license (C-10) issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board. Technical questions must be submitted in writing to marissa.guerra@water.ca.gov and received by the State on or before February 9, 2026 by 3:30 PM. The State's representatives will provide answers in writing to all potential bidders by February 11, 2026 by 3:30PM. All bids must be submitted under sealed cover. The sealed cover must be plainly marked with the IFB title and number, must show your firm's name and address, and must be marked with "DO NOT OPEN." This solicitation includes DVBE Program participation requirements, which is a minimum of three percent (3.0%) commitment.
