Site work for a water / sewer project in Hurlburt Field, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the WELL #3 ELECTRICAL project. All proposers must be registered in the State of Florida to practice their profession at the time of bid proposal. Bids must be complete and submitted in the manner specified. Submissions must be delivered to the office of the Commissioners and may be withdrawn prior to opening. Late bids and bids delivered in any other format than specified will not be accepted. Questions regarding the solicitation must be sent via email by the deadline specified. The County reserves the right to waive any formalities, reject any or all bids, or re-advertise for these services. All bidders must be thorough yet concise in their response. Only one complete bid set is to be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bid number, project title, and name and address of the firm on the outside. Questions regarding this solicitation must be received via email to ejones@columbiacountyfla.com no later than Friday, February 20, 2026 at 5:00 PM local time. The successful bidder shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the following scope of work: 1. Installation of 2-inch and 1-inch conduit to the Well Location o 2379 SE Giles Martin Ave, Lake City, FL 32024 2. Installation of a concrete post with a 60-amp, 480-volt, 3-phase disconnect. 3. Furnishing and installation of up to 600 linear feet of wire from the well to the Motor Control Center (MCC) room. 4. Conductors shall be #6 Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) cable, sized and adjusted as required for voltage drop. 5. Installation of a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) in the Motor Control Room. 6. Installation and integration of a triplex well controller to alternate operation with existing Wells No. 1 and No. 2. 7. The VFD provided must be like brand to the existing VFDs currently in service o Manufacturer and model to match existing discontinued equipment o Durapulse GS3-4015 8. Contractor shall wire the VFD into the existing alarm agent panel, providing alarm connections equivalent to those currently serving Wells No. 1 and No. 2. 9. All work shall be fully tested, operational, and coordinated with existing systems upon completion.
