Renovation of a parking garage in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The Worcester Housing Authority invites written quotes from Contractors for the installation of a Concrete Overlay of Garage Space at 397 Park Ave. Rear, Worcester, MA 01610. Bids are subject to specified terms and conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must comply with minimum wage rates as determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards for State properties and HUD for Federal properties, as per attached Prevailing Wage and Davis Bacon Wage Schedules, if applicable. The wage rate schedule is included and will be updated annually for State projects, but increases in prevailing wage schedules will not justify change order requests. All questions or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing 5 days prior to the deadline by email, and the WHA will issue written responses or addenda if required. Bids must not be incomplete, improperly endorsed, or unsigned. Conditional bids will not be accepted. The WHA reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities and to reject any or all bids if in the public interest. The WHA is exempt from Federal Excise Tax and Massachusetts Sales Tax. The bidder shall indemnify and hold harmless the WHA and its officers or agents from any third-party claims arising from contract activities, and must not engage in discriminatory practices in employment.
