Bid Pkg # 1.4 Description Hospital - Prefabricated Restrooms Estimated Construction Value Range - Phase 2 $15,000,000 - $19,000,000 License Required A or B or D-34 The University has bid and awarded a CM at Risk Contract to DPR Construction (hereafter "CM/Contractor") through a previous recruitment. An affiliate company of DPR Construction is intending to bid on this package, however the University will receive, review and manage the entire bids for this bid package. The successful Subcontractor Bidder shall sign a Subcontract Agreement directly with the CM/Contractor and shall be bound by all the terms of the contract between University and CM/Contractor. Refer to Exhibit 16 which contains the contract between University and CM/Contractor, attached to the subcontract bidding documents and incorporated by this reference. The University has contracted an independent third-party consultant to review solicitation and bidding documents solely for clarity, consistency, and fairness of the process. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project Information: Hospital includes a new 700,000-850,000 square foot, single-phase medical center building including 300 Licensed Beds, Level One Trauma Center, Surgical and Imaging departments, and other hospital functions including below grade levels. Project includes an enclosed external all electric Central Utility Plant (CUP). The project's estimated construction cost range: $1,500,000,000 - $2,000,000,000 Bid Package 1.4 Hospital - Prefabricated Restrooms Scope of work to primarily include but not limited to preconstruction services, design documents, estimating, and BIM Coordination for prefabricated restrooms. o Special Construction (prefabricated systems and products) o Plumbing (as applicable) o Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) plant (as applicable) o Electrical (as applicable) The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage; California Minimum wage; and Local minimum wage; and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Interviews will be conducted on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. A schedule and supplemental interview information will be provided in the Interview Documents. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be conducted on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom. Only those bidders who participate in the pre-bid conference, in its entirety, will be allowed to bid on the project. Registration in advance of attendance is required.
