The general scope of work includes removal and disposal of remaining roof covering materials and flashing as noted, stabilization and patching of the concrete roof deck with treatment of exposed rebar, selective removal and reinstallation of historic mechanical elements on the roofs, rehabilitation of the headhouse windows including repair or replacement of original steel sashes, installation of new polycarbonate glazing and new steel security screens, and supply and installation of new roof coverings according to drawings and specifications. Questions will be accepted up to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. On Monday, March 23, 2026, by 2:00 pm all questions received along with their responses will be summarized and emailed to all bidders by Mary Green Toussaint, Contract and Purchasing Manager, who were present at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Questions received after this time will not be answered.
