Site work for a civil project in Logan, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The Logan County Public Service District seeks the services of a consulting engineer for the rehabilitation or replacement of its Greenville Water Treatment Plant, including improvements or replacements to various portions of its water distribution system. The consultant's responsibilities will include preparing preliminary engineering reports; designing and preparing construction drawings, bid specifications, and bid documents; evaluating proposals and making recommendations for award; monitoring and inspecting construction activities for compliance; reviewing and approving contractor pay estimates; and providing any additional services required for the implementation of the project. Consultants must submit proposals detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, prior experience, and current errors and omissions insurance. The competitive selection process will heavily weigh technical qualifications and experience. All work must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and required federal, state, and local provisions, including affirmative action and minority/women-owned business enterprise requirements, and may be funded by a mix of sources.
