This federally funded contract includes all necessary design and construction services as required to construct ADA upgrades and a new ADA-compliant Visual Paging System at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. All work will be completed within the South Terminal, North Terminal, Ground Transportation Lobby, Rental Car Facility access tunnel, and, if included as an authorized enhancement, the Terminal Connector facility. The following items of work identify the minimum Basic Scope for the project: 1. Visual Paging. a. Design a new visual paging system that is fully compliant with ADA requirements for airport paging systems which maximizes use of existing infrastructure and minimizes the installation of new equipment / infrastructure. b. Upon completion of the design phase, procure and install a new visual paging system in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, codes and standards, and in compliance with the ANC Terminal Construction Standards. c. The ANC ADA and Visual Paging Display layout drawings in conjunction with section 01 00 00 and its referenced documents indicate the existing installed display infrastructure and the basic scope. The DESIGN-BUILDER shall use the basic scope to design a fully functional and integrated system. d. Programming of project network devices into the ANC network are not part of the work of this project and will be performed by ANC IT section. 2. ADA upgrades. Design and construct architectural, plumbing, and electrical modifications as required to upgrade non-compliant building features to ADA compliant features. The included ADA and Visual Paging Display layout drawings, photo reference, and spreadsheet in conjunction with this specification and its referenced documents indicate the existing installed building features and the basic scope
