General Requirements - Certified Payroll - Insurance Required - License Required - Onsite Maintenance Required Award Requirements - All or None Award Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % SCOPE OF WORK/ TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 5.2.1 There are four (4) separate sections of roof on the Fire Station 7 building. All existing portions of roof shall be removed, down to concrete or wood structure. All roofs will be sloped to drains or toward edge of roofing, so there is no standing water. 5.2.1.2 There is an attached aluminum awning on the Southwest side of building that will have to be detached and reattached to complete roofing replacement. 5.2.2 There is no existing HVAC equipment or skylights on this roof. 5.2.2.1 The Mansard metal roof will need to be removed, and any rotten wood replaced, including plywood siding, fascia and trusses, as needed. 5.2.2.2 The Mansard metal will be replaced with Tuff-rib 26-gauge metal or equivalent and secured with long lasting fasteners. Color Bright Red or equivalent. 5.2.2.3 The soffit is currently made up of plywood and will need to be removed and replaced with ventilated vinyl soffit. Color Black. 5.2.2.4 All exposed wood will need to be wrapped with metal, color matched, to ensure no moisture is accessible. 5.2.3 All work identified in this bid shall be completed by the successful bidder and include all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools, insurance, permits and fees (if any) needed to complete the specified work. 5.2.4 This building is an active location, and at no times may the Contractor impede or interfere with the access to and from the buildings (walkways or vehicle access points).
